Developed in the early 20th century as a resort community, Skyforest captivates visitors with its scenic beauty and crisp mountain air. Nestled on the rim of the San Bernardino Mountains, it offers stunning views and a glimpse into the area's rich history as a getaway destination.

Today, Skyforest offers a range of attractions and activities for residents and tourists alike. The community is home to the Santa's Village amusement park, which reopened as SkyPark at Santa's Village in 2016. This Christmas-themed park offers a variety of activities, including ice skating, rock climbing, and zip-lining, making it a popular destination for families and adventure seekers alike.

In addition to SkyPark at Santa's Village, Skyforest is close to the Rim Nordic Ski Area, which offers cross-country skiing and snowshoeing in the winter months, as well as the Rim of the World Scenic Byway, which offers stunning views of the surrounding mountains.
